Our heroes speak directly to visitors, telling them about their lives.

Audio guides are available to help you embark on a great adventure with recordings of comments by historians, journalists and eye-witnesses. This lively and interactive tour is complemented by exceptional archive photographs, programme and film extracts and television reports projected on plasma screens.

An outstanding collection of 1,300 items, displayed in the château de Pignerolle over some 1,000 m².

The Museum of Communication is the result of a dream : that of Guy Biraud, an industrialist from Vendée. The collection displayed here is his own − he gathered every single item over more than forty years − and it explores the evolution of the various techniques used by people to communicate from the beginnings of humanity.
