Sacha Guitry Section
Around 1925, the radio was still reserved to a social elite. In this section you can see an upper middle-class living-room in the 1920s, and hear Sacha Guitry’s distinctive voice. He was an author, actor and film director who would readily step up to the microphone, and his influence was keenly felt in the early days of the radio and television.
The living room you can see displays several beautiful communication artefacts: a telephone, a Vitus-Hardy radio set and a gramophone.
